sunday evening

I'm just getting home from an event filled weekend. I spent most of it laughing at my little cousins as they dance to the Wii. Now I'm relaxed listening to some music... if i drank wisky, it would be entering my hands right about...

-wait for it-

Now.

Happy Work Week, folks.

accesories.

Bonjour :)
My newest "jewelry steal" is a classic piece from Ann Taylor stores.
Although, i am an Ann associate and receive discounts, this is more of a deal that any employee can receive. For a limited time, all marked down items are 50% so hurry in! Today i bought this beautiful crystal necklace for $15 ($29.99 marked down, originally $88). Be sure to check in stores.

dress up time

I have no kids but enjoying spending time with my little cousin Courtlyn. With today's society, you don't want your little girls conforming to the idea of outer beauty being more important than inner beauty, although dress up can sometimes be fun. If you do have children, or cool little cousins...take the time out to play and have fun with them. They'll definitely remember those times in the future!
Here are some photos and video we took on our play day. She wanted to be a pop star! Enjoy! :)

midsummer nights dream

With the end of summer approaching I wanted to share a few of my spring/summer addictions. I live in the deep south, and we are "blessed" with very long summers. Here a few trends that will be relevant when spring/summer 2012 approaches, and also reasonable pricing:

NUDE NUDE NUDE

Here is a collection of my past summer addiction with nude accessories. The purse comes from Express, and the wallet was a steal at JCPenny (Liz Claiborne. Although I was afraid to try the OPI Bubble Bath Nail Color, it looks well on my skin. Don't be afraid to try it! It's a nail color for all skin tones!

*SNIFF SNIFF*

It is very hard to give a review on perfume, because you can't scratch and sniff a blog... (that would be freakin awesome though), but recently i fell in love with Poppy by Coach.

It came in this cute and fun little box. I purchased the 1 oz bottle at my local Sephoria at about $40. At the time, I also bought 10z bottle of perfume for my mother and signed up for the Sephoria rewards card program. It's no cost and you receive a free gift after every $100 spent...so I'm only $20 away. Sweet deal, especially since it isn't a credit card. Poppy is definitely a spring and summer scent since it has a floral smell, but trust me, it isn't one of those "Sickening flower smells". It's really classic and freak'n adorable!
